Puget Sound Family Medicine Residency
We are a Navy Family Medicine residency located west of Seattle, just across the Puget Sound. We have six residents at each year level. We are affiliated with the WWAMI (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho) Family Medicine Residency Network.

- One of four family medicine training hospitals in the Navy
- A community hospital with active outpatient and inpatient services
- Serves over 8100 active duty beneficiaries and their families from three major commands and one detachment.
- Serves as secondary referral hospital for one other hospital and two branch clinics.
- A new 50,000+ square foot Family Care Center housing PSFMR, the Pharmacy, Patient Education and Outpatient Records.

- Family medicine is the only residency in the hospital
- A fully accredited (5 years) residency by the Family Medicine Residency Review Committee of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
- An intellectually challenging curriculum in a very supportive environment.
- A leader in Primary Care research as evidenced by results in the USAFP and AAFP research competitions.
- A leader in TriCare and Enrollment-Based Capitation, with improved clinic efficiency & support to manage the 18,000 enrolled patients.
- PSFMR is a member of the WWAMI Network, comprised of 14 civilian and two military family medicine residencies (PSFMR and Madigan Army Medical Center)
- The WWAMI Network shares educational resources as well as rotation sites and other enhanced learning opportunities.
